Weaning not going well at all

I started to wean my now 6 month old dd around 3-4 weeks ago she is cmpa and has silent reflux. I have tried purees, porridge’s, finger foods etc she just doesn’t take any of it!
Could she still not be ready? She sits by herself and seems really interested when we’re all eating. Purées she’ll let me put in her mouth but then will not swallow and then refuses after a few more attempts. Finger foods she’ll pick up herself and suck but again will not swallow.
I’m so lost as to what to do. HV says to keep trying as she will now need more nutrients than what her milk provides so I’m worrying she’s not getting what she needs?
She’ll be 7 months in 2 weeks time and my other dcs were on 3 small meals a day by then Confused

In your position, I'd stop spoon feeding her solids. I'd give her some food at the table/on her high chair and let her play with it. Either finger foods, or spoon food (at that age I loaded spoons with food for mine, then rested the spoon back in the bowl for them to pick up themselves).
The main source of nutrition up until their first birthday should still be breastmilk or formula. Let her play a little with the food, and she'll most likely start actually eating of her own accord when she's ready.

I agree with Peapod. Don’t stress at 7 months. Just let her suck on whatever she wants to.

Mine wasn’t fussed until she turned one I wouldn’t worry about it

Thank you! I wasn’t too stressy until hv said that and told me not to miss the ‘window of opportunity’
I keep putting a few bits of our dinner in front of her which she will pick up and put in her mouth but then it just stays on her tongue or roof of her mouth until she finally manages to push it back out

I don’t think she’s actually ever swallowed any of it.

'Window of opportunity' is utter crap. What about children who are peg fed then go on to be able to manage some drinks and solids? They don't have their first foods until they're often of school age and yet miraculously, despite physical difficulties they STILL manage to eat foods. Don't let the HV stress you out. Flowers
