Starting back at work in May & DD2 will be going to a childminder, needs some ideas what can I pack her for lunch?

Will they cook or just reheat stuff? Sandwiches, dinner leftovers?

Tinks15 · 30/03/2019 08:52

I think to begin with they will reheat stuff but they said would give ginger food alongside what I provide as well.

Yep sandwiches & leftovers dinners are a good one. The days I work I won’t necessarily be cooking baby friendly dinners though so I’m going to have to start doing bits now & freezing them.

What does she have for lunch now? Can't you just pack her what she'd normally have now at home?

Jamhandprints · 31/03/2019 22:30

What does she eat at home? My 9 month old likes anything mashed, rice cakes, sweet corn, peas, hot cross buns, eggs. She doesn't eat sandwiches though. She needs everything in tiny, tiny pieces or she gags and coughs too much and scares me.

Tinks15 · 01/04/2019 07:58

Yes I will pack her what she has now but it always seems to be ‘bready’ things that she has so I wanted some ideas away from bread really. Lunch is the one meal I always struggle with.
