Using frozen veg in BLW - is it ok?

Thinking of steaming some frozen baby carrots to give to DD, 23 months. Don't have any fresh carrots in and these seem to be quite a nice size. Also less hassle for me as don't have to chop whole carrots up into fiddly batons. Vitamin content should be just as good shouldn't it. I know I'm lazy .

Nothing wrong with using frozen veg. My dd thinks peas and sweetcorn straight out of the freezer are the bee's knees!

yes it's fine. you can get handy mini bags of frozen veg that you just microwave to steam them. take about 3 minutes i think. sprinkle with cheese and there you go, tasty tea.

funnily enough we had fresh peas last night, podded them and everything and they were rank...
peas, carrots, sweetcorn good... broccoli yuck imo. and those wee bags are a godsend, norah.
