Weaning off bottles

Hello

At what point did you wean your little ones off the bottle?

Mine is 13 months almost she has bottle in morning and one before bed and she still wakes for the odd bottle in the night stillConfused

I feel like if I wean her off the bottle she may stop waking for the comfort of the bottle in the night? Sometimes I do feel she is hungry tho!

She has water etc from a straw cup etc but when it comes to milk time if I try her with a straw cup she goes mental at me 😂

Help appreciated

Are you looking more to night wean rather than advice on stopping the bottles? I think of you night wean first, you'll both get more sleep and then you can look at ditching the bottles.

I could be wrong though Smile

Can she drink from a supply cup? I think I stopped any bottles in the night by giving her water at night in the bottle and then after a couple of nights I think she got it.
I then, replaced morning bottle with milk in a cup with a straw (plastic cup and straw thingy) and then did it at night, she drank milk in morning and before bed until she was about 3 but always in some sort of cup she was used to. Not sure if any help to you, good luck
