Breakfast ideas

I'm struggling with breakfasts for my 8 month old.
I have a severe nut allergy so nut butters on toast are out ( can't have them in the house). Eggs don't suit her at the moment- had a couple of vomiting incidents.
She doesn't like weetabix or bananas; porridge gets rejected too. I've been giving her plain yogurt which seems to go down well but I worry it's too much dairy to give her everyday and not much texture. I give her cut up apple or pear as well as finger food.
Any ideas?

Salmon paste and cream cheese spread on toasted bagel thins.
A pouch of baby fruit purée spread on toast. One pouch does about three slices.
Shredded wheat bitesize, low sugar Cheerios, Kallo or Rude Health puffed rice, cornflakes
Have you tried making the porridge with different oats? You could try jumbo oats for a lumper texture or oat bran for a finer texture. You could also try using different flavourings and toppings and waiting until it’s completely cool before serving to her.

Just remembered that I read that babies can start having baked beans at 8 months.

Cheers- put some oats in a blender today to make them finer. Offered on a weaning spoon. Rejected. Offered on a stainless steel coffee spoon- acceptable. Babies are weird.
Might give slightly mashed beans on toast a go next. Presumably on a bone china platter Smile

Can your LO tolerate eggs as an ingredient? Pancakes might be a good option? My DS has plain yogurt every day and I’m pleased he’s getting calcium and protein, it never occurred to me that it might be too much dairy. He also likes toast or crumpets with butter or cream cheese.

Mine ate his dinner with a table spoon the other day. You do what you have to.

Porridge fingers
Shredded wheat bitesize
Cheerios
Different fruit - i used to give 3-4 different fruit at breakfast per week
Cream cheese on toast

Velvetpineapple- I can't now remember why I was worried! I'm with you on the calcium + protein.
Thanks for all the ideas- I tend to eat the same 2 or three things on rotation for breakfast, often eggy. Not sure why it stumped me so much -breakfast is not my strongest time...

How about breakfast muffins? Several recipes on the baby led weaning apps or you could google. Think I've seen a few recipes with no eggs.

In general the baby led weaning apps by Natalie Peall are great for more unusual breakfast ideas.

Cinnamon and raisin bagels with butter or pure have always gone down well here Smile

I find these ones go down well. Sweet potato and banana " cookies"
