What would be the best type of weaning, adult led? or child led?

I think the best type is the one that suits you and your baby

I’d probably start with a bit of both (purées and finger foods) and see what your baby prefers. Mine refused all finger foods until she was nearly 1 but gobbled up anything on a spoon, then it suddenly changed and she started refusing point blank to be fed!
