Allergic to Formula?

My little boy is almost six months and i have recently started to wean him. I am using formula to mix his baby rice and he immediately gets a rash on his face with little white bumps so have stopped.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

DS had that when I inroduced cows milk. The only thing I would advice is to keep him in BM for a bit longer. Formula is cows milk that has been modified to make it kinder to their tummies (apart of other nutrients added), but if he is reacting to formula he may be a bit on the sensitive side to other milks.
