What does your baby eat for breakfast?

Hi mums....

Simply - what does your baby eat for breakfast?

I'm completely confused! I've read that babies need more iron enriched foods at 6 months....and then I've read that baby rice cereal, normally given at breakfast time...is to be avoided!

Any ideas? How did you ensure your little one had iron enriched foods...and can I give bubs rolled oats porridge for breakfast?

Thanks

We have banana porridge or apple and cinnamon porridge here and they both go down a treat. Tried pear and he liked that too.
Otherwise toast and hummus/peanut butter/mashed avocado.
Crumpets, Welsh cakes, toasted teacakes with grated cheese and fruit on the side.
Scrambled egg with smoked salon and peas for extra veggies.
Cheese on toast with sliced tomato and bits of ham and chives.

Do you feed them porridge and cereal with a spoon or do they use their hands? My 10 m/o refuses to be spoon fed.
