9mo DS vomiting after evening bottle

Twice this week DS has thrown up the entire contents of his stomach halfway through his bedtime bottle.

I don't think he's ill. He's been a bit wingy during the day but I think that's due to teething, although he doesn't actually have any teeth yet. As soon as he's sick he's happy and playing. No temperature.

Is he just eating too much? I didn't think he ate that much but there was a lot of vomit so I think he's taking in a fair bit. He's BLW (his choice) and is a spoon refuser so he's self feeding/regulating. Should I just maybe offer him a bigger lunch and less/lighter tea? He also eats tea at 5.30 and then bottle around 7, should I stretch this? Why is this happening? I'm a bit worried.

Too much food is the most common reason, so yes, I’d reduce his evening meal and give the bottle slightly later. Teething is the other cause.

How much milk is he having bumbling? At 9 months he only needs 600 ml a day. If he's having much more, you might want to reduce his milk intake
