Nappy rash after eating banana. What does that mean?

Pretty sure it's caused by banana, as both times he has had it he got a nappy rash, which cleared up pretty quick and stayed away when eating pear etc.

Is he allergic? Is it intolerant? Or is it something else entirely?

just sounds like it's changing the pH / irritatingness of his poo (hardly surprising really)
If he's not sick, gassy, rashy elsewhere or otherwise reacting to it it doesn't sound like an allergy or even an intolerance.

He is gassy, but then he is a very farty baby - takes after his dad .
So, if I I carry on giving it to him will his body adjust? I don't want to give him something that will make him uncomfortable..

My boy does this with oranges. He bled from the rash it is so severe.
I stopped giving pure orange juice and oranges or if i did i gave him a tiny amount.
He seems to have settled down but he is nearly 4 now.
