I know every baby is different, but why does my 6 mo old eat more than my 4.11 yo?

We only started solids on Tuesday, but DD2 is eating like she's been waiting for it all her life. She's had asparagus, broccoli, sweet potato, new potatoes, a bit of nectarine, bowls of porridge (yes, the spoon was used) and tonight has just polished off a dry baby weetabix.

DD1, on the other hand, ate 2 bites of sausage and 4 pieces of pasta tonight, followed by 6 strawberries.

Something's not quite right, here!
