...my DTs are exactly 1 year old. In the last 2 weeks DT1 has completely weaned herself from breast...though still having x 2 bottles of EBM a day when I am at work...she is BLW, but has only just started eating finger foods x3 or 4 times a day...she has started sucking her thumb.

DT2 is carrying on as normal....v.little finger foods still,x 2 bottles of EBM, and upto 5 feeds from me a day.

They are both small,( born at 32 weeks ).

I am 25 weeks pregnant.

Anyone else had experience of weaning with twins ?

yes, but i think i didn't have any science to it. i think i just mushed shit up and stuck it on the high chair tray at tea time.

Hi mozhe

My twins are 14 months (were 30 weekers) and have always been very different eaters. DT1 really got on with solids from the outset but DT2 has only just started to eat a good lunch and tea. Their milk intake is also very different - one still wants 3 milk feeds a day, the other down to 2.

It intrigues me how different they are, considering they were from the same egg!
