8 month old won't eat

I started weaning at 24 weeks. And she took to it perfectly. I advanced to lumpy and textured foods at 7 months and again she took that next step just fine. She is now 8 months and was ill with a virus last week for which the GP prescribed a cough medicine and nasal drops. Since then she has not eaten properly. She takes maybe 2/3 spoons and then refused any more. I am at my wits end. I've offered a wide variety of tried and tested foods and new flavours too. She is definitely hydrated as she is getting her usual bottles. I just don't know what else to do. Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice!

She’s obviosky still feeling a little poorly. Try her with some calpol in the morning and check to see if she’s teething.

Don’t worry about her refusing food. She’s drinking her bottles and she will start eating again Smile

Sorry about the typos Blush

Thank you for your response. She is eating again now. You were right she was still feeling under the weather which was the reason she was refusing to eat. But she's back to herself now which is a massive relief.
