Little one, nearly 9 months, has cmpa and sever reflux (GERD). Each new food has to be tried for four days before moving on.
So far the following are all fine;
Cauliflower
Peas
Butternut squash
Sweet potato
Mashed potato
Spinach
Broccoli
Carrots
Green beans
Swede
Banana
Mango
Pear
Prunes
Various cereals and porridge
White bread
Tuna
Salmon
Chicken
Baby Heinz pasta stars
Koko yoghurt
Alpro vanilla yoghurt

I can’t try him with egg yet or nuts as advised by his specialist. Got to wait until he has been allergy tested. Also been advised against tomatoes and tomato based pasta sauces as these will be too acidic for him.
Can anyone help with what to try next please? He’s had red lentils but was very sick, that was a couple of months ago so considering trying again.
Thank you!

Do you not have professional input given her diagnosis?

BlingLoving · 06/10/2018 19:07

Pasta. Rice. Couscous.

Red.meat? Mince/steak/lamb

Four month wait to see the dietician which obviously isn’t very good! I’ve heard red meat can aggravate reflux?
Couscous and rice, thank you! Smile

Strawberries
Grapes
Rice cakes
Goats cheese
Cucumber
Honey dew melon
Oat cakes (crackers)

Hope this helps 😊

Forgot to add, he’s had rice cakes, he loves them!
Thank you Daisy

I would think high fat content red meat would aggravate, but not low fat - so low fat mince or lean steak would probably be okay. I have indigestion problems and yes, a fatty piece of something can make me feel ill bu ta small amount of steak is great.
