Gagging toddler

Hello,

My 13 mo always gags when I give him food.

I can't cut up food any smaller for him. He chews his food but gags at any time he remembers that I'm trying to feed him.
This can also lead to him vomiting everything up.

Iv become so cautious that I don't want him to vomit that I give him more puréed meals. He is also now drinking less milk, which is worrying.

Any tips?? What am I doing wrong?!

Thank you

Here and there. But most goes on the floor if he doesn't vomit it out.

Stick with the puree for now. My ds was similar - would gag and vomit on the most minute of lumps... just make sure he's eating and keeping enough down. The consistency doesn't matter as long as he's getting the calories/nutrition.

My DS was pretty much like this but would eat something nice, like if you offered him a square of chocolate.

Has he ever been checked for tongue tie op? That was the problem with my DS.
