Early weaning

I've started giving my DD porridge early. She's was 20 weeks when I gave her her first breakfast of porridge. (1 baby feeding spoon amount mixed with her milk) and she loves it. Now she's 22 weeks and I've started giving her an evening meal of sweet potato. I make my own (steam it, blend it and put servings in an ice cube tray then freeze it and take out 1 portion at a time).
What do you feed your little ones on and how much?

I'm interested in weaning my baby girl early. She is 10 weeks now and was wondering when to start. Would love to get some tips and start planning x

We started weaning just before 5 months. Now coming up to 6 months and DS will have breakfast either porridge or some fruit purees etc and then for dinner will have a vegetable. Carrots, parsnip, sweet potato purees etc. We tried broccoli but he had such bad wind and discomfort we are avoiding it for now. Will look to start introducing some lunch soon which will be more finger foods like sandwiches. Gradually over the next few weeks I plan to move to more lumpier foods along with finger foods etc. So far he loves his food and just being guided by him. Prepare for a lot of people to say you should wait until 6 months etc. You know what’s right for your baby so go with it!
