Boots free flow cup

I’ve bought the boots free flow cup and stupidly thrown away the instructions. Please can anyone let me know if I need to sterilise the cup for a 6 month old and if so, can you sterilise this cup in a steam machine or cold water solution? Or are there specific instructions. Thank you

You don’t need to sterilise at 6 months.

What are you putting in it, water or milk? For water, no need to sterilise and you can use tap water as a drink. If it's formula then yes to sterilising it

Thank you so much for the responses. Sorry - I was going to express breast milk. I was intending to sterilise but am aware some plastics are affected by steam sterilisers so wanted to know if I can use this method and if it was necessary.
