7 month old milk/food advice

Hi,

Would like some advice. My daughter is doing very well with food, she has 3 meals a day and 3 bottles.
At the moment, (maybe it’s the hot weather and she does have a tooth coming through also) she isn’t drinking her milk well and food is a bit of a struggle. Our daily routine is

7am breakfast (won’t have milk in the morning and hasn’t for some time)
10.30/11am bottle
12pm lunch
2.30-3.30pm bottle
4.30/5pm dinner
7pm bottle

This schedule worked from 6 months up to a week or so ago, Am I feeding too frequently, am I better trying to drop a bottle and give a snack instead? Or stick to it incase it’s weather/tooth?

Thanks Smile

I’d defintely not drop a bottle, especially in this heat, Yiu might risk her getting dehydration.

There’s no rush to drop a bottle yet. The absolute minimunshe should be having is 20floz a day, until she’s 12 months, but like I said, that’s a minimum.

If she’s struggling, I’d cut back on the solids a little Smile

What times are her naps? I would be inclined to move those two daytime bottles earlier, so they are given just before nap time.

At 7 months mine were on 2 naps a day, so:

7am breakfast
9am bottle
9.15am nap
12pm lunch
1.45pm bottle
2pm nap
5pm dinner
7pm bottle

My 7mo has

7am bottle
8.30 breakfast
11 bottle
12.30 lunch
3.30 bottle
5.30 dinner
7pm bottle

Then he still has feeds through the night, but the bottles he has are only 4oz as he has reflux and won't keep any more down.

Thanks for your replies. She naps around 8.30-9.30 depending on what time she woke, then again at 1/1.30 which is a little close to lunch and the reason I don’t give bottles before naps, I’m not sure if she’s be hungry enough to drink it so soon after breakfast and lunch.
At the moment she is only having around 400-450ml milk per day.
