My 8 month old baby used to be a fantasic sleeper, napping in the day then going from about 9pm til 6ish in the morning. However since hes started on solids he seems to be waking up at night and wont settle til he has a bottle. I still try to give him formula in the day but he will either only have a little bit or will just mess around with the the bottle being too nosy at his surroundings. He still has a bottle before bed and finishes it though. My daughter went the same way and at 4 years old still wakes in the night im hoping he wont be the same

Big sleep regression at this age.

And totally normal to wake during the night for feeds anyway til at least 12 mo. They don't have the ability to have 'bad' habits either

Personally, I go for feed (boob) and get him back to sleep ASAP so I can and we're just coming out the other side.

My 10mo generally sleeps through but when he doesn’t the only thing that will get him to settle is a bottle. I don’t think he’s hungry but more a comfort thing. Thankfully not very often now but when he was around 8 months it was every night for 2-3 weeks I think.
