Switching breast to bottle. Help

DS is 6.5 months. He is 10kg and 74cm long and wears size 12-18 month clothes.

I'd like to finish breastfeeding soon. He takes a bottle fine but prefers the breast for comfort so he has it before naps, during the night etc. He is weaning well with a combo of blw and spoon feeding mashed up food. No teeth yet.

At the moment this is what he has
6am breastfeed
8am breakfast
10am breastfeed
12 noon lunch
2pm breastfeed
4.30pm dinner
6pm breastfeed
10pm 5oz formula
Midnight to 6am intermittant breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how much formula I should give him and when? (the packet says 3 feeds of 7oz through a 24hr period for babies over 7.4kg)

Thanks.

At that age mine had 5 feeds (1 was a night feed). Milk at 7, 11, 3, 7 and 1 in the night. Food was 8, 12, 5.

Thanks. How many oz at each feed?

Whatever amount they wanted tbh. You could start with 5oz or so and tailor amounts when you see how much they want. Some feeds may be larger than others e.g. may want 7oz in the morning and at bedtime but only 4 or 5oz in daytime feeds
