Sure, why not? Eggs are a great weaning food. A 7mo can eat anything unless it's honey or very sugary or salty.

I would think so. Mine did

They can eat anything you eat or care to make barring the obvious like honey, whole nuts, shark steaks Grin and obv best if it’s not high sugar/salt and definitely not low fat.

Other than that have at it.

I'm sure we were told only if they're really well done at the weaning workshop, so I guess hard boiled ones?

Sadly for DC1 we had already been feeding him scrambled eggs so that advice was too little too late Grin (he's fine)

Scrambled egg/boiled eggs etc are a great weaning food.

What kind of meals to you make for yourself OP? I usually just adapted something we were having or had left over to make it blw friendly.

So if we had a roast chicken the night before DC would have strips of cold chicken and some warmed up leftover roast potatoes and ketchup the next day for dinner.

If we were having spag Bol for tea DC would also have spag Bol. It's messy, but doable. Grin

I make little egg/omelette muffin things. Eggs, cheese and veg baked in muffin tins and they can feed themselves.

Bananarama12 · 19/05/2018 20:40

Mine loves eggy bread/scrambled egg/omelette

Yes, they can eat eggs any way you want to serve them.

My HV told me last year that the guidance on eggs had changed, that now it’s okay for babies to eat soft boiled eggs as soon as weaning starts, provided that the eggs have the Lion mark on them.

I give eggs 3-4 lunchtimes a week for my 7month old. Scrambled and then mixed with avacado or maybe cream cheese or have mixed with blended up cooked carrot before. All popular with my little one.
