BLW suggestions

What foods would be good to try BLW with a 6 month old (he has no teeth yet if that's relevent.)
Have tried spoon feeding and he doesn't like it yet but chews anything he can get hold of so think he'd enjoy baby led weaning, I'm just a bit worried about what's safe for him to have choking wise.

A little bit of what your eating cut into adult finger size pieces works well

I don't do blw but finger foods that go down well here are things like thick chips, roast veg, brocoli florets, banana, cucumber, rice cakes, breadsticks, hummus, peanut butter or soft cheese on toast, babybels, blueberries, satsuma segments, hard boiled eggs, pasta spirals.

I did a mix of BLW and spoon feeding right from 6 months. Had intended to do all BLW but in the early days, he didn’t seem to like the feeling of food on his hands but was happy to eat and it seemed a shame not to capitalise on that.

He especially likes:
Baby pancakes (oats, Greek yoghurt, an egg)
Omelette (better cold as less floppy)
Croquettes
Cucumber sticks
Cheese on toast
Penne pasta
Scrambled eggs
Fishfingers

I’ve found he’s not great at eating vegetables by themselves- carrot sticks/broccoli etc just don’t go down well, but he’s happy to eat them in anything so I generally try and do one spoon fed meal like fish/vegetables/rice and one BLW meal a day, plus breakfast which varies.

I also let him try stuff from my plate whenever he wants, as figure that the odd chip isn’t going to hurt!
