Not night weaing

Just wondering if there are others who chose not to night wean. I’ve got a 1 year old reverse cycler who is clearly addicted to breastfeeding! I say reverse cycler; DC never “slept through”, the night feeds have just continued and I’m at work during the day. Various reasons why I don’t feel I can night wean right now but I am just looking for (gentle/lighthearted) stories from anyone. I just hope I don’t end up still breastfeeding a 4 year old!

No stories, just solidarity. I'm going thru it with my 13 month old. She's never slept through. It's my normal. I keep thinking about night weaning but can't actually do it. We bed share and it's easier in the night than trying to get her to settle her in other ways. Plus, I think it's keeping my period away so bonus! I do feel shattered and look like shit most days but my mantra is 'It's a phase, this too shall pass'. Although this phase has been the longest and most testing.

I think she'll get it on her own and if she doesn't then I'll think about other strategies at that time. Right now, sleep wins.
