Was wondering why my BF baby would want to eat solids - if supply keeps up with demand why should be interested in eating solids? I can see if FF then there is a limit to how much milk you can give. She is 6 months and she little interest in food yet, SIL suggests cutting down on milk feeds to get her interested. Keep thinking a 6 month growth spurt may prompt interest. Why should they want to eat solids? Do they need solids - iron is in BM. Do you need to chew to speak? Will they be fussy eaters if you wean late?
