Baby sauce and recipes

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone could give me any baby recipe ideas?

I seem to be giving a lot of tomato sauce or cheese sauce. What other stuff could I put on my LOs food? We serve a lot of chicken, cod, salmon and similar.

Baby is almost 9 months old

Thanks!

Gravy, you. An get stock cubes from boots with race amounts of salt in them.

White sauce/parsley sauce for fish?

Curry sauce? You can make it quite mild for babys portion and then add more spice for your own taste. My 11 month old loves curry sauce

That should say ' you can '

I've heard about these stock cubes! I need to order some.

I also like the parsley sauce idea too. Thank you

low salt stock cubes in most supermarkets.

Look for 'kallo'brand

We make a lovely pasta sauce with carrot, butternut squash, cheese, a dash of cream and some Thyme all blended up. It's lovely. We also make a curry sauce with onion, sweet potato and carrots as the base so it's really nutritious. I can send you the link to the recipes if you like.

I sometimes purée some tinned chickpeas / cannellini beans and add that to my tomato sauce. The flavour is very subtle but it makes the sauce creamier and more satisfying - and more protein rich! It's probably my favourite recipe hack Smile It was inspired by this delicious Andrew Carmellini recipe for rigatoni pugliese: abc7news.com/archive/6564946/

I know it’s cheese, but do you make cream cheese sauces? Tesco soft cheese has low salt (basically Philadelphia but lower salt content) I make a bit of pasta from boots as it’s quite small and easy to swallow, add some mushed peas and a bit of cream cheese (plus a dash of milk) and my LO loves it.
