5 month Old doesn’t like bottles

Good morning
I am new to this website so please bear with me!
My healthy happy 5 month old baby - Noah who had been mainly breastfed but had a bottle when we were out in public and at night when I would wake to feed him is no longer taking the bottle.
He stopped suddenly just after Christmas and we have tried to get him back to the bottle.
My wife is now at work and refuses the bottle. He pushes the bottle away with his hands, he cries, he closes his mouth and if we get any in him he spits the majority of it out.

We have bought new bottles and teats. We have tried warming the milk up, different formulas both powdered and ready made. We have tried feeding him in the dark and with minimal light with no distractions. Family and friends have tried to feed him but no luck.

He is starting to take good but only a little before he loses interest and cries!

At the moment we are trying to feed him but after several hours we have to take him to his mum at work to give him a feed.

Does anyone have any hints or tips?

I have read that we should just leave him but am concerned if he doesn’t feed at all for 12 hours or so that he may get sick.

Any help or tips kindly appreciated

Stuart

Will he take the milk from a cup OP?

What about expressed breast milk if he doesn't like formula?
