Weaning at 5 months

Has anyone started BLW around 5 months or just standard weaning

I did blw at Just over 5 months. Read all the criteria and she met it all apart from being 6 months - she was an early sitter and had good hand to mouth coordination. It still took her a couple of months to eat much though - it was a learning through play experience but she ate well by about 10 months and had (and still has) very good coordination with cutlery for her age. Tbh I will leave it until 6 months with next lo though as it’s just extra less for not much reward while they are initially ‘eating’.
