too quick to drop milk

So I started weaning my now 7mo at about 5.5 months, and he loves his solid food. We started giving him dinner (time that suited us best), with his milk after, and then worked up to three meals pretty quickly. I always give him milk after solids because otherwise he's not interested (I tried giving him half his milk before but then he just screamed all the way through dinner).
I feel like he's dropped his milk feeds way too quickly though? He now only has 8oz first thing in the morning, about 5/6oz in the afternoon and 8oz before bed. For his meals he has weetabix or porridge with fruit for breakfast, then 3 ice cubes of baby food (about 3oz) and a dessert for lunch and dinner. He has a bit of water with each meal but he doesn't really drink all that much water (which worries me because surely he's having far less fluids now too?).
He's 18lb 12oz so he's big but I don't know whether I'm feeding him too much or too little? My HV hasn't been all that much help since she just says to be 'guided by baby' but he would honestly eat anything I give him. I know every baby is different but does that sound like the right sort of routine to be in or do I need to make any changes to his intake?

Generally advice is milk 1 hr before food but he's still taking over 500ml which is plenty

But, my DS was about 4lb heavier at 7mo, he's not that big! Wink

Personally I don’t think Weight is much of an indicator. Much better to see if he’s tracking his height and weight centiles Smile
