We did it according to corrected age BUT we didn't do BLW as it wasn't around or popular 11 - 12 years ago

The theory behind BLW is that if they're ready, they'll eat, if they're not, they won't. You just keep up with their milk feeds as main source of nutrition.

Not sure what BLW is but guess it's something to do with weaning? My DD was born at 29 weeks and was weaned at 5.5 months corrected.

soupy's right, jetjets. in a way, it kinda does away with the whole adjusted age thing. wouldn't it be interesting if your baby didn't eat much for now but really got the hang of it at 8 months, though? [geeky emoticon]

My dd was 32 weeks and I started BLW at 6 months uncorrected but she didn't really get the hang of it until 6 months corrected.

She grew fine, although I didn't actually have her weighed, throughout and now she's nearly one and eats anything, weighs approx 9.5kg.

btw DS is nearly 12 and is now 152cm {over 5'}

i think she's a royal changeling, soupy, and she's just not been bred to feed herself. she needs a lady-in-waiting or two to attend to her every caprice. just wait, prince william will be along on her 16th birthday to clear the matter up.
