Cooked honey safe?

Is honey safe if cooked? Only a little bit in a morrocan chicken recipe, or would golden syrup do?

Not safe until over a year, if I remember correctly - cooked or not.

Don't know if cooked honey is safe. However, I don't think honey and golden syrup work the same way in recipes. I would err on the side of caution for an under one.
