Hi

Dd is nearly 7 months now and a very good eater on a mix of spoon/pouches and finger food. About 4-5 times now Ive noticed that when shes eating she gets a red mottled rash on her chin. It isnt really very severe and goes away very quickly with no apparent side effects. The problem is that there doesnt seem to be a pattern to whats causing it. I think raw tomatoes were to blame for a couple of them but then today it happened and she had only eaten wholemeal tortilla, cheese spread and ham- all of which shes eaten loads of times before. Shes also eaten lots of tomato based products before and since with no issues.

I have next to no experience with allergies nor has DH. Im assuming its an allergy but not really sure what to do next. Im not going to keep giving her raw or whole tomatoes but other stuff seems to react some times and then not others. What should i be doing? Also can you be react if your skin comes into contact with something- like tomatoes- but still be fine to eat it?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated!
