Started weaning and every so often LO has green poop. It's not explosive like diarreah, he seems fine in himself, no crying, excessive wind etc. Looks normal in every way except it's greenish!!! Is it a reaction/intolerance or just gut settling down?? Do I stop the food or carry on? Any advice appreciated!

It’s probably what he’s eaten. Spinach makes green poo, blackberries make black poo, blueberries and sweetcorn come out whole! It fascinates me what you put in and what comes out!!

Try not to worry it’s just their digestion. If it’s a regular thing and not just what he’s had for lunch then keep a bit more of a diary and speak to hv or gp.

Green poo is normal and khaki coloured poo is related to weaning. Normal don't worry!
