Weaning advice for a windy baby

Weaning is due to start next week and I am after some advice about what to start with. My baby is extremely windy and suffers with trapped wind (farts)at night which causes her to wake several times over night in pain. She burps brilliantly so I think it is just her digestive system maturing still.....

Are there any foods that will make this better or worse in your experience?

Thanks in advance x

Baked beans. DD isn't particularly windy but her baked bean farts kept all of us awake at night. I don't give them to her now.

You might actually find that weaning helps with the windy-ness.

My DS was a windy baby - apart from baker beans as previous poster says everything else has been absolutely fine. Buts it only been recently (11months) that I’ve noticed it as he’s a gready boy now! In the early days they don’t eat enough to make a difference (in my experience)
