Sorry not so much weaning as food help need.
As it says my ds was sick for 7 weeks.
Over that time he had 2 different antibiotics, steroids and now an inhaler.
He seems better now.
Although seems to be teething slightly at the back.

But his appetite still hasn't picked up.
All he wants to eat is sweecorn and is picking at everything else. A few spoonfuls and he is refusing.
And of course is nearly sleeping during the night.
Does a 2 year old have lulls in eating?
And does anyone have any go to meal suggestions that I could give him a try with?
Thanks allXmas Smile

My son had this when ill and will only drink milk so that's what I give him bottle after bottle of full fat milk. I then introduce porridge/ready break, pasta, toast pretty bland foods and then we build back up from there

Dd has been under the weather recently, then had a few days of d&v last week. She's usually a great eater but she did go right off her food and drink. We started plain and small, dry cereal, toast, rich tea biscuits. Just letting her nibble things as and when she wanted. Only today, a week after the last time she was sick has she actually eaten 3 meals. And they were smaller than usual and not finished. As long as your ds isn't underweight, I wouldn't worry. Just follow his lead.

Dd stopped drinking while she was ill. Dr suggested diluted juice or weak squash to encourage her, which it did. Now we're trying to get out of that habit! Giving her a cup of water now is just met with cries of JUICE!!!!

Good suggestions. I am willing to try anything at this rate. He loves toast actually. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

No he is What I like to call cuddly. i.e. a greedy chops who usually eats his food then ours. So he won't suffer weight wise he is just bearly sleeping.

Sounds like a plan little snack but more often.
Thank you Flowers
