organic fruit and veg

I have been weaning my dd (now 7 months)for 4 weeks and made all my purees using organic fruit and vegetables. Do you use only organic or do you combine it. I obviously do not want to give her anything harmful but it is not always easy buying just organic. Does anybody know how bad non-organic f&v actually is for babies.

Organic is best, but non-organic is better than nowt.

I only use organic for my dd's no mixing, organic holds far more nutrients than non organic and tastes better, it also contains far less pestiacides as it is not sprayed with harmful chemicals etc.

Everything we use is organic.

organic i see as a peace of mind thing

you don't have to buy fancy stuff, remember.

there are rules re the amount of pesticides allowed in baby food anyway

what i do feel strongly about is that non organic fruit/veg are better than organic crisps, biscuits etc. oh yes i DO know mothers who won't give a non organic banana but will feed the kids endless quantities of baby organix crisps...
