Is it normal for a breastfed baby, who used to poo with barely a grunt, to get distressed when pooing on solids? Not constipated, seems the right sort of texture (firmish pate), but strained and struggled and cried mid poo.

Hi, we started BLW with DD at 6mo and she used to do the exact same thing mid-poo, it was as if she was scared by the new sensation! But shes over 7 months now and hasnt done it for ages, it was just the first week really until she got used to it i think.
