When do you give your ds/dd thier morning bottle, and if you do then when do they have thier breakfast.

My ds is 8 months and i don't think he would have the bottle and then breakfast....

i always gave ds his breakfast 1st, then his bottle at about 10am

I gave DS1 a bottle first thing (about 6.30) and then he had his breakfast after I'd got up and showered etc

I give my dd her bottle when she wakes and then she gets her weetabix in the creche a couple of hours later. There is no way she could manage them both together!

similar to tommy - bottle at about 6.30 and then breakfast with me once i'm up and about or at nursery around 7.45.

DS had a bottle about 6am, then breakfast about 8am.
He's 18 months now and still likes to wake up with his "bop" before his breakfast

Hi
Similar to Tommy and olivo - ds 10.5 months has bottle somewhere between 6.30 and 7am and then breakfast at around 8.15/8.30am. He is desperate for his milk first thing then I wait a good hour or so before breakfast to make sure there is room!

DD is 11 months and has her bottle at approx 7am and her breakfast after her morning nap, about 9.30-10am.

this question confuses me too..

My 6 month DS currently has breastfeed at 7,15, then immediately has a bit of porridge and fruit, ending about 8am then next feed is at 11 am, for which he's bloody starving. I"m on a routine which is supposed to be working towards pushing the 11 am back to make a 'lunchtime'.

Do you ladies think I should be giving the breakfast later, then? He does have loads of milk early on but does kind of eat the porridge and fruit as well, but no way could he go any later than 11 am for the next meal (he's on 3 meals a day plus loads of breastmilk)...

Or should I just wait till he starts of his own accord taking less milk in the morning? Hmm...

lilred, is your dd on a routine? My ds also has a nap 9-9.45 (albeit being younger than yours)...

what time would you give lunch if baby had brek at around 9.30, then? I guess it could be as late as say 12?
