is it usual for quite a lot of fruit and veg not to be digested? have been weaning dd (BLW) for about a month now and lots of her fruit and veg appears in her poo and it's very recognisable is this normal?
have yet to identify a rice cake or a piece of pasta so assuming its just normal undigestable stuff.

Oh yes when you first start off. Scary isn't it? I saw a whole blueberry come out along with a big fart this morning when I was changing DD!

yep its normal. Until they start chewing things well enough to aid digestion, which they generally need molars for you generally get lots of bits of food in poo....

...wait until you start raisins

sweetcorn and peas make a nice colourful nappy

i've already scared myself looking at broccoli and carrots...

we too have had a blueberry filled nappy which did shock me but the oddest one had to be the multi-coloured stripy one!

terramum · 15/04/2007 22:51

beetroot is quite fun as well

whomovedmychocolate · 17/04/2007 18:46

DebRiz - that is quite frightening. Had your child been eating a Fab bar or something?
