DS no longer drinking bed time milk - is this normal or should I be concerned?

My Ds is 10.5 months old and until recently has been on 2 x 8oz bottles a day (morning and before bed which my health visitor suggested I head for at his age) plus 3 good meals and snacks. About a month ago he was unwell for quite a while, but when he got better he was eating like a horse again for a week or so. Last week he was a bit off his food again, and although we seem to be back on track with morning milk and meals, he is now hardly drinking any milk at night - 3-5oz if I am lucky. He still sleeps for around 11 hours but wakes up around 6.15am and is absolutely gagging for his milk when i get to him around 6.45am (he plays and chats for a bit plus a bit of wingeing in the time inbetween!).
I guess what I really want to ask is - Is this normal? Should I be concerned? And any ideas why this might be and what I can do about it. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give!

Hi, I dont know the answer to this but my dd (who is just 10mths) has recently started this too, she loves her breakfast bottle first thing but doesnt want her bedtime bottle and only drinks a couple of oz if that. She also has a bottle mid afternoon so I have increased breakfast and afternoon bottle a bit and just going with it. She is a good eater like your son so I dont think she will go hungry!!

Hi Becksmummy thank you for posting a reply! It is good to know that other peoples dc's are doing similar things. As a first time mum it's good to know that these things however small are not weird or unusual!! He did have one day where he drank nearly the whole lot again, but that was a nursery day and he doesn't like the food they give him so ate pretty much nothing all day - poor love was starving! I have also tried reverting back to the Aptamil First milk rather than Forward to see if he just didn't like the milk so much but to be honest that doesn't seem to have made much difference! Oh well, just roll with it I guess!
