Does anyone know any weaning books or videos that can be really helpful for a first time mum? Thank you

Purées or baby led weaning?

If BLW, I like the proper BLW cookbook by Gill Radley because it’s got a concise explanation of the BLW principles and then lots of recipes.

To be honest I don’t even know, as I don’t know we’re to start? I think il start with Purée because I’m understanding that slightly more? :-/ sorry I’m a first time mum!

Try a book called weaning made easy by Dr Rana Conway which talks about both approaches (traditional and baby led) and has a few recipes to get you started

the river cottage baby and toddler cookbook is also good. it's really a family recipe book but first section is about weaning and talks about purees too

A second vote for the River Cottage baby and toddler book. It talks about both purée and finger foods so useful whichever weaning route you end up going down.
