Cooking with stock?

DD is 7 months and usually eats whatever we're eating for tea. I'm making risotto tonight and using chicken stock cubes - will this make it too salty for her?

She has had a small amount of stock before in the gravy with a roast dinner but I'm not sure if it's too much.

Thanks

depends how much you use and how salty they are - read the side of the packet to work out how much salt will end up in a dd-sized portion. She shouldn't be having more than 1g in a whole day - guidelines here .

Some stocks are much less salty that others - the liquid stocks from Knorr are much lower than most cubes, and Marigold do an actual reduced salt one.

I found an organic gravy powder in Sainsburys that has no added salt, and I use that instead. It's like vegetable bouillon powder.
