Crunchy peanut butter

I love crunchy peanut butter. DD is 20 months and I’ve been buying the smooth stuff for her ‘til now. Guidelines are to wait to five to give whole nuts- any idea when she can safely switch to the good stuff?

You could try her with it. The age 5 guide is due to a choking risk due to their size and shape so crushed ones should be ok

I would be wary, sometimes I get the little bits of peanut stuck in my throat when I eat crunchy peanut butter, If you do give it to her just be sure to supervise her Smile
