What age can DD have herbs and curry (not vindaloo obviously)

We grow all our own herbs so routinely we'd put welsh onion in mashed potato and rosemary with lamb etc. But I was wondering how soon we could add them to DDs meals.

Also she is keen on bm laced with curry - how soon can she try a korma? Should I start out with cardomon laced rice pudding?

Foodie mums, please help!

started mine on things like this as soon as they started on solids - don't know if there are any 'rules' on this though.

as soon as you want to.
the only no nos are salt, and excessive chilli.
i ws giving my 8.5 month old seekh kebabs. she refused to et pureed food, and we were at a dinner party. she had already had loads of the biryani.
mil would just rinse of a piece of chicken, and give it to dc. result is that i cant eat ehr cooking coz its too hot, but the kids can

Well what do you know, put a bit of mint on the peas and she wolfed them down. Has turned her nose up at them seven times before, then today, minted peas were literally nicked from the table, shovelled in and with the exception of one that shot out of her nose (how?!) they all stayed in and down!

Roll on green nappies tomorrow!

ds has had herbs and spices in his food since he was weaned... never occured to me not to

if i do curry i just use a spoon of curry in a load of rice so it's not too spicy but he loves it!

DS is 9.5mths. he has garlic (loves garlic bread) cumin and tumeric. not had the balls to try chilli yet. always had herbs though.
