pasta mixed with veg purées or homemade pesto (without the cheese)
Steamed veg sticks and roasted wedges

Yoghurt alternatives that aren't made with cow's milk
Avocado is the perfect weaning food and can be mixed with banana and even turned into chocolate pudding or spread on toast.
Toast fingers are great - spread just with butter, or houmous, or make your own apple butter (sooo easy and soooo good - just stew some eating apples in a bit of water, purée them, then cook on the stove until they've reduced right down to the consistency you want - I go for about a quarter of the usual volume. I freeze this in an ice cube tray and use it as a sweetener too).
Marmite on toast is good but not too often and not much because of the salt content.
Pizza dough doesn't have to have dairy in, so you could make pizza fingers with tomato sauce and oregano and basil and veggies on top.
DS loves garlic bread.
Fish fingers are surprisingly healthy.
Porridge made with water or almond milk with fruit or fruit purée mixed in. There are also recipes online for porridge fingers.
You could make your own sausage patties from pork or beef mince and mix it with whatever you fancy before frying.
Two ingredient 'cookies' - just mix oats with a couple of mashed bananas, shape into cookies and bake for about fifteen mins. I'm not a fan but DS loves them
Scrambled eggs, omelette, frittata with veg, chopped up boiled eggs
Hash browns
Eggy bread - just soak bread in eggs and fry
Mashed potatoes or potato croquettes
I've culled these from extensive research on Pinterest! You'll find loads of recipes and suggestions on there. My DS is allergic to egg so I've spent a lot of time searching for suitable weaning foods for him.
