Say Cheese!

Is there a limit to how much cheese you can give a baby? DS is 9 months old and quite a lot of recipes I make him have cheese in them. On top of that I sometimes give him a BabyBel for a snack. Just worried incase I'm overdoing it

I was wondering this a while back - my DS is 8 months. I think the main issue would be that cheese is fairly salty so it should probably be limited for that reason. I don't know how that would translate to quantities though.

Only the salt issue afaik (unless dairy allergy like us!).

If you think of cheese as about 2% salt, and the limit for an under 1 year old is 1g of salt per day, then you can get an estimate of how much is ok.
