Mineral water?

can you give mineral water to 7 month baby? going abroad and cant drink local water... apparently mineral water not good idea for babies???

most mineral water is unsuitable for babies as they contain too much sodium. Evian is the only one I know of that is supposed to be ok. FYI - you will still need to boil it if you arfe making it up with formula. If its for just drinking on its own then its fine straight out the bottle.

sorry, yes, its just for drinking...dd is breastfed so she'll still be getting milk too... how come evian is okay then?

could you just boil the normal tap water?

errm... I think because it has lower sodium levels...maybe the alps are made up of low sodium rocks
