Cow & Gate Roast Turkey Dinner (7 months plus) - be careful!

DD almost 8 months tried this for the first time today for lunch and choked on it. 🙁

Quite scary but she is absolutely fine now. I don't know about the other C&G jars for 7 months plus, but wanted to advise others that this jar is v v textured wth lots of bits. DD is small for her age but has been on solids for a couple of months now.

She quite happily snaffled lots of vegetable purée afterwards I should add!

Glad she is ok. It's so scary when they choke my wee one loved to do this with apples so he was banned from them lol he is ok now but much older.

I just brush up on my baby and toddler cpr and choking things on youtube every now and again to make me feel less stressed.

Thank you Smile
Me too, I recently attended a first aid for parents course and it was excellent.

You sure it was definitely choking and not gagging?

Sadly babies can choke on anything, including smooth puree.

That's a good question @MoominFlaps. I think she was choking. Yes sadly you're right they can choke on anything. The reason I was drawing attention to this jar in particular was because it has lots and lots of "bits" in it, so perhaps more risk than others.
