Growth Spurt?

Is there any sort of rough pattern of growth spurts? I can vaguely recall a HV saying 'oh he'll prob have one at X weeks, and then X weeks...'

He's 8.5mths, and drinking insane amounts of milk, aswell as having 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.

H e has slept through once or twice, but now he's waking repeatedly and drinking loads- 14ozs milk during the night!

Does it sound like a growth spurt? He is teething again too.

Sounds like a growth spurt to me....Kellymom has a page on growth spurts which iirc has 9 months as an approx age for one....my DS had one at around 10 months & ate an insane amount of food & v little bm for a couple of weeks & then went back to having v little food & loads of bm!
