Baby shoppingbags has been enjoying watermelon this afternoon but will only eat it when it's been warmed in mummy shoppingbag's mouth first! I said it was gross

it was good enough for stone age babies!

PrettyCandles · 06/03/2007 17:19

Don't fret, you're only getting 'back to nature' - how d'you think mummies pureed first foods before blenders were invented?

SenoraPostrophe · 06/03/2007 17:19

they say it's where snogging originated in fact. I am suspicious of that theory.

KathyMCMLXXII · 06/03/2007 17:19

And how exactly did you discover this fact, Shoppingbags?

PrettyCandles · 06/03/2007 17:19

BTW, just how did you discover that?

KathyMCMLXXII · 06/03/2007 17:20

My dd is always trying to share her pre-chewed and sucked food with us, which makes me think it probably is instinctive.

deaconblue · 06/03/2007 17:21

He kept licking his own piece of watermelon and pulling the face he pulls when his yoghurt is too cold, then spitting it out. He loved it once it was warm enough. My sis reckons I'll be regurgitating bird style before long

ah that's cute, unless they are 14 year old spotty lads I suppose
Ds has only recently eaten wearing trousers, dh was worried he's grow up needing to take them off at mealtimes
