Is anyone else out there having problems with weaning and a flat refusal to open mouth? My DD is quite happy to chatter away but as soon as the spoon comes out the mouth tightly shuts.

Maybe you could try finger food instead and let her feed herself?

Tried a bit of rusk...no joy. It was so much easier with my first who was eating chicken at 6 months!
